Kohima

Kohima is pretty much unexplored with untouched locales and tribal villages.The unlurrd pace of life,scenic vistas and peaceful environiment are just some its charms.Kohima in Nagaland ,a typical Naga town is a pretty hillstation ,with panaromic views of rugged Naga hills ,displaying the exotic tribal culture of the North-East.
                               
Kohima zoo is wonderful and you can see the rare Tragopan bird here.Dimapur Ao Baptist Church is the largest church in Asia. Kohima war cemetary on Garrison hill is another spot that many don't miss Dzukuo vally is beautiful.
                               
Kohima offers adventurous trekking and splendid views,by trekking on Dzukuo valley, Japfu peak, the 2nd highest in Nagaland and also Pulebadze peak over  looking the suburb of Jotsoma. The views from atop there peaks are out of world.
                               
The home of the brave and daring yet simple and innocent Naga tribes ,Kohima -Nagaland is unspoilt and replete with some attractive tourist sites to see and do.
